Full Description: 

This interactive workshop will examine how welfare reform has negatively impacted families in poverty, as well as how it's influenced the mainstream's myths and stereotypes about families on welfare. We'll examine what we do locally to organize around anti-poverty issues, as well as what the National Welfare Rights Movement can teach us.
