Workshop Information
Event Date:
Fri, 06/25/2010 - 3:30pm - 5:30pm
Event Location:
Woodward Academy: 1449
Full Description:

Through simple awareness exercises and movement meditations, we explore different ways of being present and becoming aware. As we open up our understanding of “being present,” the apparent dichotomy of presence/absence is questioned. This leads us to reflect on our experiences in and around the question: How can we be more open and available to new possibilities for being? How can we be more in community and open to change? The workshop will lend participants some simple but effective skills for being present and imagining new futures.
