Full Description: 

Native delegates from a recent delegation to Palestine will share the relationships between Indigenous struggle in the U.S/Turtle Island and in Palestine. This workshop uses multimedia to explore history, oppression and resistance. We will also share how delegation partners have been using media/culture/art to do joint education and organizing with Palestinian youth refugees.

(This workshop is geared towards youth and youth organizers/educators).

-Explore SNAG- look through the magazine, choose an image or sentence that stands out. Briefly share what you chose and why

-Listen to Solidarity track by Antithesis
-Delegation to Palestine page- making the connections historically
-Contemporary resistance slides in the report-back slideshow
-7GIV video clip/s from the delegation and discussion

Alternatives/Strategies: Organizing across borders, creating solidarity between communities of struggle, and being part of a new generation of activists forming their own connections.
