Full Description:

A handful of companies control many our essential food, water, and ocean resources. Communities around the world are struggling to gain and maintain access to the resources that sustain our health, communities and environment. While communities’ water infrastructure around the country is aging, private corporations seek to gain profit from a human right. In addition, due to decades of bad farm policy and unchecked corporate
mergers, massive agribusiness giants with too much power have taken over
the food system making it difficult for us to have access to healthy,
affordable and safe food. It’s time we take action to change the policies that allow private gain at the expense of our health, community wealth, and environment.

Our panel of experts and organizers will define the current situation with
our food and water resources and share strategies for empowering
individuals to take steps beyond responsible consumption to encourage real
policy change. Join Brother Dave Andrews, Jon Keesecker, and other experts to learn about what you can do to empower your communities to take action?
