The workshop will offer brief reflections of the social forum process from a global perspective. International organizers and activists as well as delegates to the WSF International Council will discuss lessons learned from the World Social Forums, European Social Forums and Social Forums of the Americas in the last 10 years. How does the international process inform and influence our organizing in the US context? How will the social forum process change in the future--what are the opportunities or constraints on future incarnations? What are some strategies going forward for making the social forum process a more effective agent for progressive change and innovation.
