Creative Organizing: Using Puppetry and Performance to Move Your Campaign

Puppetry, storytelling and street theater can be valuable assets to
community organizing campaigns when used strategically. In this workshop
we will look at effective uses of performative arts in organizing and
discuss how arts and culture can be incorporated into a campaign’s overall strategy. Participants will then have the opportunity for hands-on learning and practice, using a sample campaign to develop and share creative performative elements which clearly communicate a message.
