We will explore questions such as how does the psychiatric system a-politicize suffering? How is the psychiatric system used as a means of social control? How do we challenge or attempt to hold this system accountable? And how do we find safer and more just means of coping with our extreme states? |

The Invisible People seeks to bring to light the missing history and knowledge of African-Americans and other minorities in a current predominately European centered curriculum. We seek to understand and investigate, and implement ways to change the current the current education curriculum to be more expansive in the knowledge of African-Americans and other minorities that is shared with children in the classroom so it may be conducive to the betterment of African-American youth and other minority youth as well. |
