Tours

The USSF is offering a number of tours to familiarize the social forum community with Detroit’s deep history, struggles and its expanding sustainable future. A limited number of these tours will be offered on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10-12 and 1-3 pm. Seats are limited, registration is recommended, $10-$20 sliding scale fees apply. Full tour descriptions and schedule will be available at registration. Sign up at the Tours table inside Cobo Hall.
People's Movement Assemblies

A gathering of people to discuss and analyze our conditions, to come up with demands, commitments, and visions for how things could be different. Plenaries

The US Social Forum is proud to present our 2010 Plenary Conversation, happening Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings from 6:30-9pm. We created the plenary as one continuous dialogue over three evening sessions. The narrative for the dialogue will speak to the rise, crisis, and re-constitution of neo-liberalism and how it’s increased concentration of power and decision-making in the hands of the international financial/business elite, at the expense of ordinary people.
