Associative Forms of Production, Past and Present: Research from the Academy The participants in this panel are all researchers from academia who focus their work on social movements within the Americas. They engage both historical and contemporary cases, hoping to contribute to the success of social movement struggles through their work.
This panel will present on various topics relating to cooperatives and the solidarity economy, with an eye towards the alternatives these cooperative movements present. The role of intellectuals and the university in social movements will also be discussed, and of course, open for debate.
