The name of our presentation is "From War Zones to Peace Zones." It will detail the development of the Detroit Coalition Against Police Brutality from reaction against police violence to the promotion of alternatives to law enforcement intervention via community self-initiated safety programs without the necessary for such intervention. We will highlight the Coalition's activities over the last 14 years.
