Encuadrando Nuestra Visión Collectiva

This workshop will show activists how to tell their own stories to mainstream audiences by using widely familiar American political language. For example, if we want to talk about fairness, we say we want everyone to play by the rules (a common American sports metaphor). We can use this kind of language with complete integrity, because all we are doing is translating our own message into the mainstream political language of the U.S. In the workshop, we'll practice by working to develop language for a message that could carry the common vision of the 2010 U.S. Social Forum into the mainstream media.
