¿Cuál es la gran IDEA? Una introducción a la estrategia detrás el Instituto para la educación democrática en América

IDEA launched publicly in May. In its first year of public operations, IDEA seeks to : 1) Frame "democratic education" as something deep, just, nuanced, and accessible, 2) Connect and listen to a strong network of youth, teachers, youth workers, parents, and policy makers, and 3) Provide the credible tools, research, and support needed to fuel an education double movement (ground-up and through political/civic leadership) that results in youth having the tools they need to create a more just, democratic, and sustainable world.

In this workshop, participants will have a chance to review and critique IDEA's strategy for its first three years. Participants will also be asked to suggest opportunities and connections that would help the work to happen.
